A couple of years ago I walked into the Toastmasters meeting. I wasn't scared of death (At least I thought so) neither was I scared of public speaking. But rather the fear of dying during public speaking was the holding me back. We have a few doctors in our club, thought it was worth giving it a shot. 

 

My journey has been a roller coaster ride.  Toastmasters is a place where we are encouraged to make mistakes but the condition is that we have to make new mistakes. Probably one of the few places I know who let us do it. It is also a place to unleash our talents and go on in the self exploration journey.  The best part of this journey is that we end up having wonderful people our lives. Probably it wouldn't have been  possible if it wasn't for toastmasters.
